Amy Anderson, RMT
I grew up on a small acerage in Keoma, half an hour east of Airdrie. Graduation from Beiseker Community School in 2007 led me right back into college the following fall to start a 2200 Hour Diploma in Massage Therapy at CCMH - Foothills College of Massage Therapy. This sparked my interest in Holistic healing and natural therapies. I want to pursue more education in nutrition counseling and fitness training. After graduation from CCMH, I work with Massage Therapy on the side, and love working at Generations. In the winter I fill my time by snowboarding and playing volleyball. Anissa Coutney, Chiropractic Assistant and Cold Laser Therapist
I have been a part of the Generations team for close to 2 years now! Before coming here, I worked in Oil & Gas for close to 11 years, and after being laid off, I found myself looking for that same kind of close-knit, family atmosphere I had loved so much. I had never worked in the Healthcare field before and Dr. Kristi took her chances on me and I settled right in! After taking a few courses, I became the Cold Laser Therapist in our Calgary office and I absolutely love what I do!
I was born (and pretty much raised) in Calgary. My dad works in the oil industry so we had a couple of moves along the way, but we found our way back permanently when I was in grade 2. I graduated from Bowness High School and went to Mount Royal for a little bit and had some fun in their drama classes. I also spent a lot of time volunteering with the Special Olympics and The Kirby Center.
In my down time I LOVE to go fishing with my fiancé and going to parks for wiener roasts! We just built a house so we're busy with that….. it seems never ending but it's so amazing having a house that we can now finally call home
The clients that come into our office are fabulous and I'm honored to be a part of their wellness program. It's comforting going home at the end of the day knowing you've helped people heal – and made a few friends along the way!
Lisa Kennedy, Cold Laser Therapist
My life's purpose is to facilitate healing. I joined generations in 2007 as a laser therapist. I have seen laser work for many conditions and used it on myself. I now enjoy walking, cycling, skiing, camping, gardening and crafts. I spend my off hours raising my family and expanding my energy and healing practice. We also have rental properties so it's pretty hopping in my down time but I love everything about my life.
